that sounds like a no win situation. Its kinda hard to judge wat ur goin to need plus when ur on a sortie things change change very quickly. Lets say I jump a corsair off the ship lookin a cover some bombers, my wing get one kill i get 1 and the bomber get one kill, town has 5 buildings up and now they tell us that a c47 is comin to drop. Theres still some aaa up and u got the 5 buildings. I have been in this situation and just kill wat needs to be dead. So now i get the kill but my gunnery numbers go down. That sucks:lol , i been in the reverse situation, in a jug dropin on a town and ill pick off spit. I guess if ur playin 4 the score u can be flexible.
Much easier if you decide ahead of time what makes teh game fun for you.
If you want to be part of captures, stopping the enemy, coordinated team missions -- then expect to die more, and to "waste" rounds on buildings. Your stats wont be as good, but that wont be what you'r e playing for.
If you want to get optimum stats, you may get frustrated on missions when friendlies do stupid things and expect you to sacrifice yuorself for the good of the mission. You may not want to get involved with lots of capture stuff, or breaking a spawn camp, or breaking CAP at a vulchable field. Those things might be fun, but they would hurt your score.
If you want to play for the fight, for the adrenaline rushing, heart pumping thrill of a swirling melee -- your stats and captures wont be as good.
If you want to do all three, well, you'll make compromises....like do a mission but let other guys take down the town while you keep your hit% up.
No matter what you decide you like, learn to be happy with the choice. When you see a low hit %, remind yourself that thats not how YOU measure you're fun. When you see a player "worse" that you with a better score, well, that's the choice you made.
If you decide to want everything, I guarantee you some frustration. In AH, just like in life, choices have consequences, and you cant both save the dollar and spend it...
