Me too. And I get shot down a lot, some of the people salute me and some don't. After a good fight I always say on 200, too bad I'm easy to shoot down so I don't get those a lot... :)

What he did do was get a new LA7 and come back only this time there was two of us waiting. He followed the 109 up and I followed the LA up, filled him full of 20mm. Once again no salute... (was that a cherry pick or just a nice set up??) Ok fine. LA returns, this time there is three of us and he dies quickly. A squad buddy made short work of him, it was some good flying on my friends part cause he got the kill before anyone could get over to help. Once again no Salute.... The LA driver was a good stick too, everyone reconized his name.

So what's my point.  Well, lets just say that I have NEVER been saluted for a good fight or a good cherry pick etc etc. So if your getting Saluted and it get's your panties in a bunch I suggest you switch to decaf. Chill dude, and accept the complement.

Oh my damn goodness. Man go to school and take a reading comprehension course or something. I'm not going to explain it anymore this is getting ridiculous.

I use if I want to........when I want to...

If the actions of my enemy have earned my respect I will sometimes I have the odds stacked on my side some times not............ its his actions I consider........not my own.

If you finish off someone who is low and slow and has fought well why not salute him................ he did well but fell to the inevitable.

If we use as some sort of mutual back slapping ritual (always expecting one back) then it loses its meaning IMO ..............

and when there is little else to do and no good fights to be found then cherry picking can be fun for a little while

"when you are flying over 15k and see your fellow country men in a duel with another guy and you swoop down like an eagle and kill the poor sap and then give the "

How do you know which one got the kill. Maybe your original opponent got a few pings on you and the swooping bugger took you wing off but the kill goes to first pinger and he salutes for the good fight you had before your duel was ruined?

Happened to me a lot of times that I got a kill for a few pings OR only assists even if I took a wing off of e/a.

The damage/kill system works rather strangely sometimes...
