new gfx tech - DX10, megatexturing, Ageia

So...

Carmack is moving in one direction with megatexturing, Ageia has a lot of developers signing on, and MS is moving to DX10 with windows vista.  Will AH be able to move with the march of progress or...?  Will those geforce2 MX cards finally drop off the AH supported list?

It sure seems like at least this megatexturing and ageia physx could have value in AH...  What's the word at HTC?  Yea I know Combat Tour is the focus of effort, but are these new techniques and technologies going to make it into AH?
