Wow ... based on what I observed in FT last night, the hypocrisy meter in this thread is pegged.

FT is in your imagination, it doesnt exists! its just a point where three enemy bases meet. as far as im aware of if they wanted it fighters only they would put 40,000 foot mountians around the three bases. But they dont, its still a base that is SUPPOSED TO BE CAPTURED!

Again go to the DA and dogfight.THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR!

AH still has no shortage of clueless dolts ... oh well.

Id like to also add to the thread that Im very upset with all the fighter dweebs ruining BUFF ALLEY.  They cant seem to understand that this area is for bombers only.  On the same note, what is the deal with all the land based planes invading the space specifically designated as the Naval Aviation Zone?  We've got it clearly marked by putting it in the water (all blue and such), but instead of having true naval engagements with torpedo planes and dive bombers, we constantly have to deal with P-51s, Jugs and Lancasters.  Im telling you its just so annoying.

had too much fun chasing after spixteens and lgays in an sbd lol. next time you're in FT give it a go, take something REALLY cruddy, makes for hilarious fights, especially when you get the whinging PM's about cheating and using a turny bomber:lol

and aztec we werent ackstarring, we were actually turnfighting in manned buffs, it was atleast some representation of a dogfight lol, everyone was laughing including all the guys that rammed us:) was a lot of fun

and wow, the ju88 is crazy lol, if only it had more than one forward firing guns, it's really great.

Hello all , im back in Ah after a 5 year stent ( 3 hour Tour ? ) Relearning my AH FM's and pretty much having a grand time. My take on ww2ol ( the game I have been playing ) is as a Flight sim it has a lot of problems, on the other hand it lets you do a lot of things the FM here wont. of course it's a differant game with differant models. I was one of a hand full of pilots who could turn a 109 with any plane in the game, I could hold a sustained turn with a 16 degree AOA untill my fuel ran out. I could hover a 109 on its tail for 15 min. so yes their are a few "loopholes" one could use. Cant do that here, but you can fight spittys in the vertical ,WW2ol is going nowhere, with the loss of several personell we ( the air guys) were told no new planes or work on the FM or Ammo and damage models for a long time, I have flow the 109 for 5 years and frankly the thought of flying the same plane for another 2 years was the last straw. The main thing I love about Aces high is the damage model , if you get guns on someone it's gona hurt, very fair and equal , and I luv it. So after 5 years of constant downgrading of the Luft , I finally gave up, AH while a giant furball for the most part seems at least to this player the fairest game around. and sence im here for the fun fair is good:lol

see ya in the skys, and no doupt in your gunsites for a while.:aok
