Ok rpm I have to take your your word on that one I've never seen teh ending credits, I have been misinformed by the person that supposedly "knows" this stuff.
If its not historical, please scratch it from my list, the only fiction I like is scifi, and  some scifi might not be fiction much longer.

There is,  "Action in the North Atlantic"....starring Bogart, Raymond Massey,
Alan Hale and many more recognizable faces. Sounds like your friend might have wrote the script. Great movie, tv guide usually gives it four stars.

I think I saw that one once, isn't in black and white?
As far as my friend, he's usually pretty good about being correct about WW2, He seems pretty much into all that stuff. I'm more into just war movies, scifi, horror and really good comedy, and some good love movies.
