I'm still trying to level-up in RL.  It's hard, the end guy is tough.

I've been told tier 3 armor sets are in the new raid instance in the 1.11 patch. Those should help the 60-70 run after the expansion.

How would blood and guts on your canopy enhance the gaming experience?

For every interview I have seen veterans talking of blood and guts on the nose of a B-17 while flying to Schweinfurt, I have seen fighter pilots saying they shoot down airplanes and don't think of the pilot until later.

During the hunt they are shooting down a zero, not killing Ishi Yamaguchi.

My parents never spanked me past 4 years old, and I was never grounded. I live a successful and moral life.

If you have to beat goodness into somebody, you're already screwing up.

And to Brenjen in his reply. It has nothing to do with whether a child is spanked or not. It has to do with parental apathy. There was a case of 2 brothers who played D&D in their closed room for well over 36 hours at a time, only coming out to eat and go to the bathroom. When they finally went out and both committed suicide their parents were SHOCKED! 36  hours locked in a room playing a board game didn't even get their attention but now they are completely surprised that there was something wrong with these boys. Then they want to blame it on the game.

The biggest problem with mental illness is the complete apathy of the people closest to the afflicted person. As someone who has had family experience with it I've heard this excuse to many times before, "there was nothing i could do". The truth is they didn't do anything except close their eyes and hope it goes away.

I fought a 10 year struggle with a kid and a wife... the kid going down the tubes, the wife enabling her. saw every diagnosis.. 'bi-polar', 'addiction', etc.

never ceased fighting for her.. and that meant fighting both of them. One knew how to work the system, the other convinced she was 'sick'.

Kids fine.. nothin wrong with her. never was, beyond the empowerment granted kids acting out in our sick society. If i had i time machine, I'd go back and shoot dr. spock.

and I agree... if i took the 'easy way out', and surrendered that child to society with it's 'i did everything i could' PC BS, she would have been lost.. dead today.

parents need to take back complete control and total responsibility and for and of thier children. not only do a heluva lotta kids need their tulips kicks soundly and often, a heluva lotta parents need their tulips kicked too.

Gore in video games has nothing to do with how manly we are.

He said Dr. Spock.

Here's the diff:  Mr. Spock is fictitious.  Dr. Spock, however, was not.

with the playstation 3 and the xbox 360 its goin to be hard to keep heavy gore out of the games, even the grass is fully 3d.  It does desensatize us to violence but of course im old enough to know its just a game.  The younger kids are the ones i worry about.  Look at the media as a whole.  10 years ago you couldnt say "*****" on tv, now there say everything but the f bomb.  I have listened to hot 97.1 for years(not the last few years music now sucks, last time i heard somethin good i was is high school).  Now on hot 97.1 they can say the n word.  Comedy central plays movies uncensored at midnight, i was watchin south park they other day and they played the whole movie in full.  Im older so i dont care but what about these kids growing up.  There horrible. I have seen 12 year olds doin drug and haveing sex, whats the world coming to.

Hang time i agree parents need to raise these kids.  If i pulled a 1/4 of the stuff these kids pulled when i was growing up(in the 90s) i would have got my bellybutton kicked.  Yes there is a thing called child abuse but a solid smack in the mouth wont kill him.  I seen what these kids do today and its parent abuse.  I seen a 14 year old kid smack his mom and call her a *****.  I came up and told that little punk if he does it again and hes goin to have a problem, mother turns around and says its OK.  Wheres the respect.  You got these young girls no older then 17 dressed like a hoe.  I dont noe how they let her out the house, skirt is so short a little wind will show u the whole deal.  Theres no excuse for things like this.

Gore in the games isnt needed but like at how real they look now. If im plyin a shooter and put a load of bullets on a enemy i expect him to be riped apart.  Back in the n64 days u could get around this, u shoot the enemy falls with alot red coloring on him and he disappears. Now it looks so real that u cant cut corners like that.  I saw some of the e3 games on tv and there amazing.  U dont need gore but u do need realism, games like gran turismo 4 have great graphics but when im goin 100mph and hit a wall the car should be destroyed i should bounce off the wall and keep going.
