XP and me

I have just moved into the 21st century and bought a new puter LOL (been using windows 98 for years.  

Question;

When my computer goes to sleep when I return my keyboard is locked up.  Keyboard uses the ps2 plug  ie...not USB.  My mouse (usb logitech) still works but keyboard is dead until restart.


HP q1310n model
Windows XP
200Gig HD
1GB ram
etc....


any thoughts or suggestions?

Unless you just have to have it try turning off the sleep mode. You'll find all the options under Control Panel -> Power Options. If I recall it default loads to turn off hard disks, monitor, etc after 1 hour.  Some mainboards don't like hibernation and can be a bit squirelly coming out of it.
