Hap, I'll give you this:
Opus Dei is the only organization I've seen that's brought apostate Catholics back into the fold. When the bishop's Opus Dei, all the baptised atheists and secular humanists have to do what they can to support the non-Borg priests.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

"non borg priests"

I wonder if we'll ever find out the stuff the mufuti mafia have pulled off? The church's own mission incarnate force.

Funny thing to me is I thought exactly of that image when I first heard about God & Co, around 6 or 7 years old.

it is very strange that a similar movie about Islam would cause riots, death & destruction around the world ....

now tell me again how all religions are the same?, you know, an opiate for the masses??

Ah...school appears to be out for the summer, for some of you have no class.

Seriously guys, you're gonna have to trot out a newer argument than your standard "You believe in a fairy tale so I must be smarter than you" line.  That one's getting pretty stale.  In various forms you use it in nearly every thread, and with nearly every subject.

It also proves the point that you're not really atheists for, evidently, you worship yourselves.

Bye-the-bye, remember all those times yo mama told you how smart you were?

Well...she LIED.

Mothers are like that.  Yes they are.

Every few years a movie that has something to do with Christianity causes a big hugabaloo....Passion of the Christ, now Da Vinci, and unfortuntaley, every time we have to listen to all the extremists on both sides freak out about it and make fools of themselves.

I too am "Da Vinci saturated", I wish they would all STFU already. If they dont want to see the film, dont. If they do, go ahead.

...and next week....

Worship as you please, in your own way. The sun will rise in the morning.

Btw, Ben Hur, that was all real right?

And whats this about Blair Witch not being a real doc? thats a releif, I was so worried about those kids. ;)

Ponder on this.
What if Jesus actually had an heir. How does that become bad?

It is bad because father god screwed that Maria virgin. His son doing the same to another Maria (he must have been living in south america with all these Marias), only that one was far from a virgin. (what was the holy ghost doing at that time?... I can only imagine)

If He had a son, the Churche would have to explain what happened to him. It can't, or at least couldn't back then whe it was formed and they knew that would lead to hundreds of people claiming they are decendents from Jesus. In a couple of generations that would be thousands of people, All of which will fight the bishops for the leadership.

It was far easier (and in accordance with the forming cristian religion) to avoid this difficulty altogether. If he had a son they should have killed him to avoid this.

This is why I just worship my body. It makes life so much easier.

It is kinda funny how many people in here hate Ron Howard for messing with the George Welch story, or Hate the movie U-571, or hate "We Were Soldiers" cause the ending was wrong... the list goes on..... suspend your beliefs people... suspend your beliefs.
