No way Let There Be Rock beats Back In Black and no way in hell ...And Justice For All is better than Master Of Puppets.  Other than that, not a bad list!

always fun.  MT Im impressed with your choice of Yessongs.  So many great moments on that album(s)....

I would have to put Cheap Tricks self titled debut album on there.  Thats some great rock and roll.  And the Cars first album was a wonderful piece of work.

Ya know, I always preferred Yesshows over Yessongs mainly because of The Gates of Delirium and Ritual.  Doesn't get any better than that.

Not a jerk, just misinformed. Old Genesis with Peter Gabriel at the controls was one of the greatest rock bands ever. Their later incarnation was just crappy pop.

Peter's solo stuff is better than his stuff with Genesis IMHO.  But I do like Trespass, Selling England By The Pound and L.L.D.O.B.

Personally, I like Disraeli Gears better than Wheels of Fire.  :)

I'm not a big "album" guy. I usually like a few songs, but not a whole album.

I believe that the music one gets hooked on when they are young ( 14-19 or so) will end up being the music that they will always regard as their favorite type of music.

That being said, I think the White Album is one of my favorites. When I first heard it, I was about 16 and was used to hearing the Beatle's "pop" songs.
The White Album sounded like a different band to me, and I started to be amazed at the talent they had. I picked up a guitar and taught myself Julia, Mother Nature's Son, Blackbird. I started singing and trying to emulate the double tracked vocals like the Beatle's had on the White Album.

I really just love music. I couldn't list a top ten if I tried.

GoD is teh awesom live.  The thing I like about Yessongs is that they were so good musically at such a young age.  By the time they got to Yesshows they were seasoned mature professionals, and it shows.  Now contrast both Yessongs and Yesshows with an Evening at Tsongas.....in the twilight of their careers they are still so capable of incredible performances.

I would sure like to see them again.....
