...and they we're painted black with water-based paint. You can see a few shots with the paint peeling off.

In the original Star Wars,

1) One of the Storm Troopers bops his head coming through a door as they enter the control room.
2) When Darth Vader and Obi-Wan are fighting, Darth's chestplate is on backwards.
3) When Obi-wan and Luke are watching the hologram of Princess Leia projected onto a small table, the objects on the table change position and number in each shot.

Hmmm,..I know there are more, but that is all I can recall right now.

True Story:

During the filming of VERTIGO, one of the crew came up to Hitchcock and said 'we have a problem'. Hitch said, what's the problem.

The guy explains that on certain angles, Kim Novak who wasn't wearing any underwear ... well you could look right up her dress and 'see her business'.

Hitchcock replied, Yes, that is a problem. I just don't know if it's a lighting problem, a hair dressing problem or a makeup problem!

Speaking of Jurrasic Park. When theT-Rex eats the goat it is on even ground with the cars. But when the T-Rex pushes the car over the concrete wall theres a huge drop off.

Die Hard II
Officer Mclean makes a call from payhone at Dulles airport in Virginia....the logo on the side of the payphone is pacific bell...
As far as military hardware not being corect and motorcycles changing from street to dirt bikes at stuntime its too numerous to mention...... another example, in the movie Christine when the evil plymouth rams the pretty camaro you can see that there is no engine or drivetrain at all, installed in said camaro... not really a slip -up as such, as you can see this in a lot of movies/tv shows but more along the lines of nobody is supposed to notice...

Anyone ever really see the supposed "little person" that  was supposed to have hung themselves in the Wizard of Oz?

Towards the end of Twister when Bill Paxton is about to slay the F5. He drives his pick up through a house thats blown on its side. When you see inside the house everything is right side up. No to mention the transmission on his Dodge remains intact through the whole movie.

We studied that movie in AP US history last year and its symbolism. We got stuck on that part with the person hanging themselves. if you watch it enough times you realize its one of those birds they show in the scene before.

When Vader gives Obi-Wan the killing slash at the end of their fight, Vader's saber cuts clean through Obi-Wan's before going through his robe.

When Luke sees Obi-Wan's death and begins to run toward the ship, you can see Vader in the background as a large hangar door quickly closes.  Vader's light saber is still a stage prop, and doesn't glow red.

I've seen jet con-trails in westerns while the indians were chasing the satge coach. I have seen the shadow of the film truck & it's tire tracks while the chase scenes were going on in several westerns.

I recall seeing a weather bouy in some sea-faring movie like haratio hornblower or that one master & commander, can't remember which.

In gladiator one of the guys in the background was wearing black jeans (you could see the belt loops).

Here are a few pics to some goofs:

Here's one Skuzzy was talking about;
