Yeah Paulaner makes a good hefe weissen, but I think that their oktoberfest marzen is their best.

For most people Paulaner is the gateway beer. Once you've had it you know what beer is, and you'll never go back to watered down malted rice again unless you're an alcoholic.

Its not the beer, its how much. After a case you can't tell a Bud from Lysol, and I've drank many bottles of Lysol!

If I want something that taste good, I drink a coke or chocolate malt. If I want to get drunk I'll drink tequila. Beer is a good time filler between shots of tequila. Who cares how it tastes? There's really a magazine for drinking beer? That is so weird:O

Paulaner hefe weissen is by far the best beer I ever had.  Im from the US and my wife is from Germany.  We went over to visit her family in zweibrucken, thats when i had my first taste of Paulaner's.  It had a sweet taste to me... absolutely amazing flavor.

I can not wait to go back to visit again...its been 2 years now.  Went over for octoberfest 2 years ago...what a crazy time that was.

I suppose in beer and in love, if you want to stand out from the crowd, you need to work up a tolerance for the truly unpleasant.

LOL...good one. I started out on buttwiper & busch. I think Guiness tastes like chocolate milk, especially when you get the foam just right & it goes down like a frothy milkshake of rich nutty goodness. I think I'll go have one.:D

They make guiness by giving a lot of guys a lot of gin to drink, then they go out behind the Guiness building to the peat bog to relieve themselves, they then let the piss/peat ferment a bit and then sell it to you. I would rather drink Icehouse

All this talk about beer... Then I was invited to a cookout & barn dance tonight! I ran to the store, bought a 12 pack of Schlitz and all the fixins for homemade ice cream.
