Captain Virgil Hilts   I also have this stick never had to calibrate before as the game picked up everything fine.

Went through all the new axis calibrations   remapped everything still  dead to the world.

Its as if the joystick is disabled somehow works fine in windows control panel

X52 (joystick and throttle), CH pedals USB, no real problems

Imported my settings except for select2, views, fire buttons, and reversed rpm slider.

I used SST software to make joystick shoot out keyboard commands, some as macros. Had no problems with SST.

INteresting to note that there is a slot now for "select weapon 1" -- wonder what that means might be coming....

Hilts: Does it show up in the stick mapper screen? Or is it all blank?

I'm wondering if it's a bug related to the inputs or related to flat-out recognizing a stick is installed.

The key for x52 users seems to be the SST software. *seems* to be.

xmarine: I've read your other post. I have no clue what's going on, but if you're getting 1 FPS something is not working right. Try some basic trouble shooting to narrow down where the problem might be. Try to run something like FSAutoStart (or manually shut down a lot of programs) -- find out if 2.08 is really bogged down or if (for some odd reason) it's just requiring a lot more resources.

If you have another stick try plugging that in and see if 2.08 does the same. Try using a USB to gameport adapter, or something. Other than that I'm out of ideas right now.

Seems that a few Saitek force feedback sticks are just dead to the game.

Its runs at 60 FPS with no joysticks, then will drop to 1-3 depending on which usb port I use. Maps refuse to stick if I'm lucky enough to get game @ full with a stick plugged in.

Everything was happily plugged into a hub before working slicker than snot on a doorknob. Now, its just a doorknob.

I installed the SST software, that worked great for taking up space.

Well Gentlemen, I am glad to see I am not the only one who had that Problem.

After loading the new upgrade, and importing controls I had a dead stick. I to many hours to figure out what was going on and why things were screwed up.
Even After deleating AH and reloading, Deleating Saitek and reloading I was still having problems with no stick, no buttons, no buttons highlighting in the Map controller, No nothing.  I sent 3 emails to TECH SUPPORT looking for a little guidence and help but no replys came forth. They get Weekends off. Needless to say I was a little upset that we get the new upgrade, and no one at AH to help some of us computer dummies.

After cooling off some I began playing around and discovered a few things.  #1, if you have the Saitek Profiler turned on and go into AH your buttons in the Map Controller will NOT highlight up on the Screen.  That was a Major Problem for me, for with 33 buttons you dont know which is which. #2 Check your Saitek Profiler, I discovered that during the process of the upgrade and trying to get things to work some of the functions I had programmed in were erased.  #3 Nows the time you must make the chose, use the Saitek X52 Profiler as before, or use AH setup, which sadly is lacking as it did not allow for, the mini stick controller, and Wheel Button, and Multiple Commands on buttons.

I Chose to continue to use the Saitek Profiler, started up AH and went to the Map controller to discover the problem as to why no controls.  Hit advance and saw the x,y,z functions were all zeroed out at the bottom of the scale.  I hit the default button and brought everything back up to where it should be on the scaler and HEY, we now have a joystick.  Also for you people who have throttle not working, It is not the slider controller but it is the z axis and you must engage that in the AH map controller and set it to Throttle 1.

Hope this might help some of you X52 Stickers.

little late here, but...

leave your profile EXACTLY as it is.

go into AH, and you need to go to the map keys option in the settings. you need to reassign the fire controls, f b and n, and also reassign the hat view settings. once you do that it's totally back to normal

send me a pm if you need more help :aok

Heres a link to how I "converted" the 2.07 stick config file into the new JoyStickMap file for my Saitek Cyborg.

Hope it helps somebody trying to import their old stick scaling.
