It's a little hard to type it

but you were right and the rest was wrong.
I could've sworn that something was off with the P-38 low speed handling which had nothing to do with the flaps.
I didnt really believe Pyro's post either but it made me finally do my homework and test it.
I've flown the -J in AH 2.053, 2.072 and 2.08 under identical circumstances today.. and well.. they handle identical when getting slow (without flaps).
Perhaps the flap thingy triggered the impression of different low speed stability but the mass hysteria is a little bit embarassing now
