omg, I need some help guys, after I downloaded 2.08, it worked, than I didnt play it for like...4 hours, now it says my version is out of date, and i have 2.08 . and they yay part is, My dad n I cut a deal, I didnt spend this 20 $ bill on candy at the ball park, so he said I can buy sometin with it, and I found this joy stick at walmart for 20$ right on the dot ....so im gettin a joy stick right now.

YAY!!!!!! AND WTF!!!!!!!!!! LOL:rofl

2.08 was released, and then another patch was released soon after to fix some bugs. just download the next version. and that joystick will make it a lot easier for you;)

But, when I hit download the update, it just disapears and it doesnt download..

Check if the installement folder of the game (something like C:\programs\HTC\Aces High II) isnt write protected. Make sure your internet connection is good. Check setting of your firewall/anti virus (maybe even disable it for the download... it might block you).

If all that doesnt work, try downloading the patch manually (as in right click and save as) from the homepage.

Have fun with that Joystick! Its going to make AH life a lot easier for you

Auto updater on 2.08 doesn't work. You need to download the patch here:

http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AH208T2081.EXE

Save that link, then run it. This is for people that have 2.08, and will patch them to 2.08 patch 1.

ok guys thanks, but now I suck horribly..my dad gave me 20 dollas he said i could spend it, so i bought a joy stick..now I suck horribly..

Give it a few days. You need time to adjust.

When i got a new stick (different model), it took me about 6 weeks to get back to "normal" - the first two days i was ready to drop it and switch back to my old one. Stick with it, you wont regret it in the long run.

I made an avatar....if you go to the aceshighII file and the squad icons, it is that size, I opened that for my avatar, but i cant do that

what can I do?? and how can I make an avatar for myself?? like custom from scratch??

Avatar has nothing to do with squad icon.

If you want that icon as your avatar, make a copy on your desktop. Open it with some graphic editing software (like Photoshop or picture publisher). Resize it to 64x64 pixels (maximum), save as .jp or .gif. Check that the file size is below 30KB.....

The upload it in your userCP.

PS: If you have trouble doing that, post the pic you want as avatar here, or point me to a link where i can find it. Ill resize it for you.

also the resolution will play a big part in how big it looks verses the 64 x 64 file size ( pixel size )

resolutions of 62...65...70....72 etc...will decrease or increase picture overall size/quality....something to play around with when tweaking.......
