Try this.  Copy and past this into Notepad.  Rename it jsmap.cfg and save it to:

C:\Program Files\HTC\ah2editor\settings  (save your old jsmap.cfg in case you need to compare later)

This puts forward at your joystick button 2 and reverse at buton 3 with working CH peddels. I had to guess that your joystick is stick 0 and your rudder is stick 1, it could be the other way around and your throttle could complicate it slightly.  It's not that hard to figure out but if this doesn't work, PM the top half of your pre v2.08 patch 2 jsmap file down to But 6 or so.

I don't think you can mess with the alphas too much, at least not without a ton of planning. I do believe that the same alphas that are used as transitions to differenct tile types are used as the shore line. So, you would have any "special" trasitions showing up where water and land meet.

However, the same 1/4 tile is still used as the transition in conjunction with the alpha. terr000X is always the transition tile divided in 4, covered by the corresponding alpha quad.

Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

See, same thing happens with me. I shut down an old AIM site of mine a while back. Two weeks later to this day im getting inquiries about what happened to it and when it will be back up!

Amazing what all pops-up when you dis-connect a site.

Hey USRanger, when will we get a working link to download the map? I'm really anxious to get my greasy hands onto it! (I like to get ideas from other people's terrain. And no, I dont copy. Just look at different terrains and try to "mix them together" or make my own resembling the original)

Uhm... howcome when I go to practice offline. Does the map reset to ndisles?

I go to "Choose Terrain" and select: WinterWars  (renamed it, but not the .res part)
then after I press "OK" or "Load Terrain" it resets to ndisles.

Either when you uploaded to host, it corupted the file. Or somehow the new patch did something to it. Do you mind just e-mailing it to me?

I noticed that too.  Apparently any maps w/ custom bases can't be loaded offline because it interferes w/ the stock "bad guys" that come w/ the offline mode.  What I do to chk out these maps is host it in H2H and title the room TEST-Do not join.  Once in a while someone can't read, but usually you are left alone to chk it out.

Wait, I figured out why. The name of the terrain is more than 8 chars long. So it wont load offline. Just change the name and it works!

Edit:
I spoke too soon. I tried working it offline. It acts just like Rpearl. Loads then throws you back to main menu. Then the clipboard performs "aerobatics".

I tried H2H. When the map loaded, threw me back to desktop and exited AH. Somehow this new patch must be interfering with your terrain.
