nah - just checked - still porked.

level at 1500 - 3000 feet get going around 450 so - go to calibration - do the steps- bomb aimpoint is now like 2 miles in front of where bombs hit.

Unless I'm missing something and the 234 bomb sight has a different procedure to it.

Waffle, after you calibrate, what speed does it say you are calibrated for?

Check your e6B. Are they the same (or close)?

Not sure if the discrepancy is in between drop alt and plane alt...

Other bombers calibrate fine - but not the 234s

If bombs were dropped now - they would hit roughly 3/4 down below where the cross hairs are.

Sorry but I canīt duplicate that.
Took my Ar to 4000ft, then went to calibration. After calibration I got exactly the same view you posted, but only because I had still RTO selected. After selecting my bombs, I went through calibration again and everything was fine then.
It does not make a difference if u have actually the RTOs used or not, because selection doesnīt change automatically after usage, you have always to manually select bombs before calibration.

Waffle,

Another possibilty is the extreme difference you have with your drop altitude (315ft) compared to your actual alt (1323ft).  They need to be fairly close as well.

If you are doing this offline and do not have the easy calibrate system enabled (hold the Y key to set speed) then you could have clicked the wrong part of the map to set the wrong alt, you could have moved the stick too much when calibrating, or any number of things.

Lol i know how to calibrate a bombsite :)

The bug is if bombs aren't selected when your're calibrating - the sight is outta whack. Calibrating a bombsite shouldn't be dependant on whats selected as a secondary ordinance.

I don't know... have you tried "dropping" the ratos and watching through the bombsight? Do they "land" where thy should? (that is, drop off and parachute away?)

Maybe (long shot) it's actually calibrated for their forward motion?

The torpedo bombsite does a similar thing. It looks forward too. Not that I ever hit anything, EVER, with a damn torpedo, but I think it takes into account the forward motion.

Probably a matter of the bombsite being "too smart".
