Ok so I was messing with it and it works....kinda. What it does now is shakes, like its caged to the position that the hat goes to.  Any ideas on this?

Off the top gunner...the only thing I can think of is did you map the x & Y axis of your mouse in controllers?
Set them up as (uh....brain fart...) view pan pitch and yaw

I have the same setup but not problem

Well mapped em out but still having the same prob. When I move the mouse the  view moves about a 1/4 - 1/2" then just kind of shakes like it wants to go back to the original view.
Thanx

is your hat set up for snap view, or pan?

I get that 'stutter'when my hat is in pan mode....or if I have padlock view enabled.

Lokk in your options..(start in mouse view)...try checking and Unchecking that option.

In map controller, make sure that you haven't caused a conflict in the set up.

Are you using the SST software? You might be finding a conflict in there, too.  I use the SST software..and have my hat set as POV in all modes, but assigned nothing to it in SST. My View functions are set by AH software.

The only thing that I haven't figured out how to get to work through SST are the mouse button 1, and wheel scroll on my x52 throttle. I can, however map them with the AH setup.

Keep looking gunner, I put money on one button being out of place.

Howdy if the map button 1 is the little silver button I had to map that in the sst software. The scroll button I  just used it and the AH mapper "saw" it and I mapped it there. Still no luck on the mouse yet.:(

One other thought....
when (or if) you mapped the mouse functions...did you click on the advanced box and checked the sensitivity?

There's another thread kicking around too that talks about a key press to toggle mouse function on and off...can't remember where though.

Ok got it working... kind of. I unchecked everything but "start in mouse look and mouse snap view". Now here is the thing. When i uncheck mouse snap view it does that locking up thing again. Id like to have it smooth as opposed to the snap thing so any ideas?
Thanx

well, Glen, I have start in mouse view checked......and mouse snap view unchecked.

above those boxes I have padlock snap view checked.

I've been trying to duplicate what you're describing but can't do it.

Like I said before....my mouse view would only get messed up if i had hit F8, or had padlock F11 enabled.

Double check in options, map controllers....mouse....click the advance box and play with the sensitivities for you mouse....

I can't think of anything else......at least right now, anyway....sorry
