Lol.

I couldn't care less about how the US fairs in soccer. I just can't stand to watch it and never could stand to watch it. It completely bores me.

And I wasn't even talking about the World Cup, I was just talking about the sport.

Also can't stand golf or baseball to an almost equal degree.

I didn't target soccer. I was joking about getting a website going in order to rant about the sports I think are stupid.

As others added to the list, you may be able to see that this was more the idea of the thread.

Watching sports on TV is simply boring to me and that includes even the Super Bowl. I cannot fathom someone watching golf or bowling on TV. That seems like a very good definition of brain dead to me.

We used to drag in a Commodore 64 and a TV into the combat information center during in port duty days and play Winter and Summer Games. Damn, we probably broke a half-dozen joysticks. :D

When stationed in Germany a friend had a tape of the Superbowl arrive in a care  package.  We fast forwarded through the game to watch commercials.  First commercials I saw in about 2 years so it was twice as good.
