Pearl Harbor is going to be another movie that might be otherwise good if it wasn't centralized around a love plot. Sigh.

Nothing ruins a good war/disaster movie more then a love plot. Why? Because money that could be used for more explosions and better historical equipment/actors and other special effects is wasted on a plot and cast developement to attract a wider audience.

I mean look what they did with Titanic! Blah!

I guess VH1 is good for something after all.

How about a movie that has Russians and Germans speaking English with English & American accents?  Hopefully, when they show the Japanese, they'll actually be speaking Japanese!

Bah, what am I saying, I just hope there's some cool plane toejam in it!

Oh they did better then that. They got Faith Hill to sing the love ballad. Celine is so... 5 minutes ago.

My wife would even go see Enemy at the Gate with me. I think she would have liked it better than I did. The best part of that movie was the Ferry boat straffing in the begining. Not on my Top 10 DVD list

I saw the comercials and there are a lot of planes blowing up, including german planes.

I heard they were going to cast all the japanese as mexicans speaking southern cali anglo/mex slang after all the latin market is much larger.

Saving Private Ryan was a mix of new-level shock value sensationlism and a marketing sucess fluke.
