Or maybe you tackle the whole idea that mustard and nerve gas actually constitutes WMD at all;  how it can create the infamous "mushroom cloud" on American soil within 45 minutes? After that, take a look at the bill of sale on that stuff. Did not the US used to sell that stuff to Iraq? What happened..... did Iraq not pay its bill? Was this some kind of massive repo operation? Is that what necessitated the invasion? To take it back?

Believe me... If it turns out that there was WMD in Iraq,
 so WOOT! WMD in IRAQ!

that is the response i expected from you, after 3 years of crying about no WMD, you now say "so what" and "you gave them to him anyway"(false).

why don't you crawl back into your igloo, we will wake you up when it's all over.

Why would this have been classified? You'd think that they would want to point that out right away to justify it. Especially during Bush's re-election campaign

Ya think?

Maybe I am...

You found his name, along with a PDF file of the unclassified section of the intelligence report he was reading from.

Who and where is it?

I would normally agree with you on this subject. But I have to agree with Nash for once, I feared this day. But, the truth is that mustard gas or sarin is not the "smoking gun" that we were looking for. If this would be such a bigdeal you and I would hope for it would be headlines on all news stations. Not just on the ticker. Also, the fact it made news around 8:30 pm EST.

It's not so bad, is it? You lived through it, right? Nothing that a few band-aids and some ointment can't fix, anyways. :D

Looks to me like it's an old report covering known to be unuseable stocks..  unsure of the relevance. Agree that it's not the anthrax or bilologicals we were told he was developing. Understoof the R&D trail on the nukes.. and we know how that panned out..

so, no biologicals, no weaponized anthrax.. just the old stuff we knew he had pre 1991.

...so, no smoking gun, and no real vindication for the whitehouse.

however, I do expect a lot of gnashing of teeth and podium thumping; plenty of PC language.. and of course the scare card: "imagine if the terrorists got them!!"

*sigh*

Hmmmm..... Mr. Big Nash.  Funny name for a kid. But it could happen. Let's see what the morning brings.

This is already out there.

Weapons of Mass Destruction Exist in Iraq

Quote
Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) and Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.) announced Wednesday the discovery of over 500 munitions or weapons of mass destruction. The WMD found were sarin gas and mustard gas contained in projectiles, according to Fox News Channel's Special Report.

Sen. Santorium, reading from a newly declassified intelligence, said, "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist." The statement was aired on The Mark Levin Show, as well as FNC.
