No these would be the "whaaaaa ht let the con goers up rv8 tards". The entrance to the "Tard" club is that way------> .  Your table is waiting.

Its hard to just get the cream of the crop hardcore flight sim guys witout geting dweebs.
LMAO its a game get it. Ht said it himself. Or do you want to do preflight checks ...warm ups...ect ect.

Aces high can afford that commericial on the military channel i see a good 5 times a day they can get a good deal to hold a convention on the miami strip or some where in florida.
Could it be this is the reason the con is the way it is? Might it  be he can afford huge con and no TV time...Or small con and TV time.  I'd still rather have the small con with the dedicated people.

Its funny because when i record my flights nothin happens but when the tape isnt rollin ill down a hurr 2 la7s and 2 ju88 in a fm2. Next time i take out f6f ill roll film.

Ya shame aint it. The record button is soooo difficult to find.

Because they are self centered little ME..ME...ME types.

Gentlemen, the Con is a celebration of making friends and having fun. It is also a tradition to run the Evil Con Mission. Inasmuch as you had to be flying near the one base from which RV-8s were spawning, you had the entirety of the map remaining, where no RV-8s would be. A few years back, they introduced the Me 163 at the con. The Evil Con Mission was centered on flying 163s with tons of ammo and an hour of fuel. They howled about that one too.

Gentlemen? You  are giving them credit here. They have no sence of what the community is about much less tradition. While I am fairly new to AH, I am not new to MMOWW2 flight games. What they lack is empathy . If its not about them, it is at best  nothing that concerns them. At worst, useless and should be removed.

Ya know, if they gave them solid gold toilets, these guys would still find a reason to pee on the seat.

Sadly they come from the same mentality as the .... Couldn't find there arse with both hands and a map. I pity them

My regards,
Widewing

Once again forgive me Widewing . But these types that want to pee on others fun because it conflicts with.... What they deem relevant .... Really aggravates me to no end.

There have certainly been numerous requests for LEGITIMATE planes from WWII which aren't currently in AHII. Wouldn't it have been better - and just as much fun - to model some of those, then let the people at Con INTRODUCE them to the game? They would have the honor of being the first to fly the new models.
Cept it wasnt modeled for the con.  It was already around, but not public knowlege.  It's a developers tool.  Makes sense to me that the developers personal plane is modeled to QC the flight model.  Not like its reasonable to expect to have a priceless warbird on hand to make comparisons with.

WW: The problem with going somewhere else on the map is that there WAS no one anywhere else on the map. I spent an hour flying around looking for a fight, but practically everyone was in the furball at the Con mission.

I logged until that nonsense was over with and I could find a REAL fight.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I went to the con had a blast will go back next year even if its in New York I dont care Some guys spend 1000.00 bucks in one day flying RC airplanes when they crash I can crash as many times as I want to and not out but 15.00's. If you ask anyone at the con they will say it was a good time. Oh and all the beer. People that complane about the con just are not dedicated. And the RV8 was a blast to fly It had twin Vulcan 30mm Cannons not a lazer. There was talks about it going into the TA but no guns I think not shure on the no gun thing.

Well all you sour pusses have a great day sorry yall didnt make it. If ya had ya wouldnt be complaning trust me.

Evidently, everybody else liked the con furball while you pouted. I also would have been at the con mission furball. It sounds like it would have been a blast and my ego wouldn't be brusied by a minigun armed RV-8 on a once a year lark for a couple of hours. I'd have been trying to Kill one.
