Nothing wrong with remembering the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. Also nothing wrong with speaking your mind about our government and its policies. Both are appropriate American actions and both should be honored on the 4th.

Yep American should remember the hardship and danger that those brave soldiers deal with every day.  And they should remember the reason they're all there.

THE FORMER IRAQI REGIME OF Saddam Hussein trained thousands of radical Islamic terrorists from the region at camps in Iraq over the four years immediately preceding the U.S. invasion, according to documents and photographs recovered by the U.S. military in postwar Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq  — U.S. forces came upon a recently abandoned terrorist training camp on the outskirts of Baghdad where recruits were apparently taught how to make bombs and what to do if they got captured, the Marines said Wednesday.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Before his death, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had recruited hundreds of people who received terrorist training in Iraq and then returned to their home countries to await orders, The New York Times reported in Sunday editions.

Boy hate to be sleeping with my boots off in a combat zone.  Last thing I would want to do is wake up needing my boots put on with shots being fired at me.

Sorry EagleEyes...maybe if you could just tell us each what to post - maybe in multiple choice format - we could post exactly how you want us to.
