Magic Mushrooms were legally on sale here until January when the government panicked and banned sale or possession. Naturally of course the 'problem' went away and magic mushrooms are now impossible to find.....:p along with Heroin, Cocaine, Cannabis etc unless you walk down certain streets in broad daylight and ask shifty men where you can find any. I don't of course not least because I apparently look like an undercover cop. Drug dealers scatter down side streets when they see me?:aok

Researchers also found that people who took the chemical experienced genuine mystical experiences, as defined by psychologists.

What the heck is a genuine mystical experience?

To me that means hard core hallucinations. The type that are so real you have no doubt they are really happening.

Old friends comming out of the woods to say hi and passing so close, you can feel the air move as they pass and smell the calogne/ perfume you have known them to wear. Trees talking to you as the wind blows through them. Sitting back into a chair, listening to the wind and feeling it blow around every hair folical exposed to the air and you body tunes itself to the rythem of what goes on around you. These are examples of good hallucinations.

little things like minor color changes, wavy blinds, mosiaic moon light bouncing off leaves at night, etc are what I would consider a low grade hallucination beccause there is no "real" substance to it.

Taking a trip and never leaving the farm isnt for everybody, but I do think some people would tremendously benefit from it.

It's the genuine part I'm wondering about.

So, what is the ugliest part of your body?

Jimi
"Are you experienced?"
"Have you ever been experienced?"

Jimi could sure make that guitar sing but I think he got his sex, drugs, and guitar all a bit confused. ;)

I remember one "freak out" that made us all laugh for days....

We were tripping down on the beach at night near Morro Bay. If you've never seen a coast cypress tree they look like this:

Notice how they lean away from the water.

Anyway while lying on the sand I was looking at a stand of these trees at night when I noticed they were all leaning the same direction. In fact they looked like they were in a strong wind storm.. in fact there must be a freakin hurricane cause those trees are REALLY BENT OVER!! OMG!! I'm in a hurricane and I can't feel it!!! I must be paralysed!!!!

It was funny later.
