And Dux..you really need to write a tutorial on how you do the clipboard maps. :)

Yea nice map.  I agree with NHawk you need to write a tutorial on how to make a clip board map cause i cant figure it out.

I did pretty much the same thing for my malta map. Went onto a weather site, got a topographical map of the area, made that my map.bmp file. And built on from there. Yet im sure everyone else has a seemingly different way of doing these things.

I use the mapmaker program, the location is geographicly correct,funny thing is I picked random Longatude and Latitude and whalaa MA terrain.:huh

Mapmaker is a nice prog, nobody else seems to be able to use it though.

I've used it quite a bit. I've never had any problems with it.

A few months back in a topic about the mapmaker, it mentioned that whenver someone imported the map's bitmap to do whatever. He would attempt to click anything on the interface, even menu options. And it would pop-up an error message mentioning that the program has made a fatal error and needs to restart. Those people running XP could never get the program to work. I couldn't either, and im running Windows 2000.

Do you have all the DEM. files and the gusgs.1_2 file? The gusgs seems to get over looked its a large file, if you don't have it I can send you the site to obtain it.

I have it running on XP Pro and XP Home

Okay NHawk, perhaps im missing some files. Could you send it over Falcon? If you can, just send me a PM. You might as well include the entire package. Cause I got rid of the file when it didn't work for me.
