my new favorite ride in AH. its the german spit16 a jack of all trades roll rate suffers a bit of coarse but all the 109s do. good speed great climb super on wep that lasts forever good range good firepower. turns well especailly against late model stuff. if i could only get the hang of aiming that spinner cannon. for some reason i have a hard time hitting stuff in 109s and deflection shots forgetaboutit luck at best. great perk farmer!

Yeah, and the 109K is....Konrad :D

No, Karl, nono, Kurt, , just a minute, Kristoff, whatever :D
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Anton
Bertha
Clara
Dora
Emil
Friedrich
Gustav
Konrad

Those are the names that were given to the 109.  "Fritz" was given to the 109 by the Spaniards for the license built 109.  "Fritz" was NOT used to identify or call out German manufactured 109's.

Oh, and the Friedrich is a great lil plane. I miss the gondies option, due to my bad gunnery, but it's quite a fun ride. I've heard that the FM changes have had a positive effect on it, but I haven't flown it enough in the last few months to comment.

The names Karaya listed for the 109 subtypes are the official LW designations. For F it was Friedrich, not Franz or Fritz.
