It's not that simple. Civilian phonetic alphabits differed from military and each branch had their own version etc...

Didnt say it was simple.  Just that there is a few roots to the term in question, and I could care less which one is used.

Yeah, I thought i had that TBM fight in the bag. I under-etimated that little plane by FAR!!! Of course ive never flown it without a torpedo, so i still dont know how it handles... anyway, great fight Furball. You ARE the superior pilot. And can you teach me to do THAT with a TBM??? (<--- Not sarcasm)

I don't think it is mean to post the film, the populace was widely requesting it, both here and in the other thread. In fact when one gets called to go to the DA to settle an argument the public posting of the film is nearly mandatory. That way we get to see the purses fly from various angles.

I guess it was skill :D
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

It was, i just want to see the maneuver. I never saw it, i was too busy wondering if it was like that Ta-152. That the name said TBM from afar, but it was actually something else.
