Oh I am right there with ya Ghosth...

I would love the B-25H but I think I have more chance of a Playboy Pet O The Month three some than ever seeing it...

Who exactly are you referring to when you say "you"?
Who are you to wave your finger?

The way I see it, if HTC keeps producing this game for years to come, there's really no reason to not expect darn near all of the planes they can find data for to be included in the game...  Eventually.

I personally don't think they're going so slowly about it, either.  Yeah, no new stuff until CT is done, but just since AH2, let's look at what new stuff we've got:

P38G
P38J
Me109G14
Me109K4
Spit VIII
Spit XVI
Ki84
B24
T34
P47N

There's 10 new toys (ok, some are pretty close to what we had already *109s* but they're new nonetheless).

Then, of course, you have the remodels:

P38L
P51B
P51D
Spit I
Spit V
Spit IX
Spit XIV
Me109E
Me109F
Me109G2
Me109G6
B17
P47D11
P47D25
P47D40
Fw190A5
Fw190A8
Fw190D9
Fw190F8

That's 19 (plus or minus one or two that I'm missing or got wrong)...

So 10 new toys and 19 remodelled ones in the roughly two years since AH II went full-scale.

How many new things did we see in any two years of AWIII?

Absolutely none.

I like the concept of perking ordinance. I dont need the 75mm in the 25, but i DO want a 25 with more than 3 guns. Andnyes, lets get some more german bombers. I hate the fact that you have to fly the 17s and 24s if you want to hit hard. Oh yeah, and the lanc. But basically, in the SEA, the allies have us kicked, flat out.

That's a good point about the later b25 models and not being able to get off a CV deck.  I hadn't thought about that one.  Still, I see no reason why a b25C wouldn't make a good SEA plane for a doolittle raid scenario.  It was a special case, and anyone arguing for a permanent CV B25 should go check their history.

I got a whole folder of data on the doolittle raid, was thinking of trying to make up a snapshot but RL got in the way

We could still set up a Doolitle SEA event with single b26s and a ground base (with china on the other side for landing).

Hell, the Yamamoto's despair event has p38s taking off from a CV!

Ya can get off a CV in the B-26 ya just gotta move your self to the left a bit before take off... Fairly easy once you get the hang of it....

I was figuring on having 16 b-26's take off with a gunner on each thats 32 pilots for allied....

Could make it a "Modified History" Snapshot and have twice as many B26's that would give you 64 on the allied side.

Some ppl think that the doolittle raid did not get fired upon by enemy aircraft. This is incorrect I have a copy of General Doolittles AAR and a number of the planes in the raid were fired upon by enemy AC.

EDIT: Have a look at this thread http://www.flyaceshigh.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=176005&highlight=doolittle

Yes im in Spokane, sorry for the late get back, i was in tillamook Oregon. Just got back the other day.

And using B-26's for a sub. in a doolittle raid...thats so totaly wrong to do. use the b25 if and when AHII gets it.

Every time somebody requests the B25H with the 75mm from now on, I'm going to say the following:

"Forget the H! We need the C and J!"

Sorry krusrty I disagree

What we need are Unique planes with somthing different about them that give us somthing to spend our perks on...

We have a bunch of buffs and the 26 has 50 cals on the front.

I would like the b-25 used in the doolittle raid, b or c iirc but that is just so we can emulate the doolittle raid.....

IMHO the H model will not be implemented.  There will be to much abuse of the cannon.  I can think of it as a buff hunter(three kills with 3 rounds:eek: ), tank buster, and ship deacker/killer.  It will overballance the game, witch Hightech will not do.

Therefore the H model has about as much chance as a snowball in the center of the sun.  I do invision maybe a C/J model B-25.
