wallpapers anyone?
« on: January 31, 2000, 03:26:00 PM »
Hi there,

Has any of you fighter jocks got some good WW2 warbirds (nay, not the game...   ) wallpapers, preferably 1024x768? I was scanning the web for them - but didn't find anything good... either they do not match size or you have to pay for them. Any suggestions welcome - with the exception of Spitfire (phew) or Mustang...

Kirin out

p.s.: Had to remove my old wallpaper (Heidi Klum) for my beloved one felt it not to be appropriate...

Historic Wings has wallpaper/calendars available for free.  Not always WWII planes, but always historic aviation.

Hope this helps,

Kirin,

Search for Huntress III.  This is for the Huntress III racing team.  They have a beautiful wallpaper of a P-51.  All you do is click on "make this my wallpaper" and Wa-La!!

Had it for my wallpaper for about a year.  Now I have a Spitfire MK XIV.

Good Luck!!

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
