upside down in a rolling fight with a Ki-84 down low in my 38G.  Gawd I love those fights when they happen, in particular when I don't die :)

The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Ok Dan, fess up.  That cannot be your P38.  I scanned it with a magnifying glass and found no missing pieces, no bullet holes, no oil splash, no smoke.

Sooooo, was it your wingman and you were following in a badly mauled P38? :D

1,500 feet is only low if the base is at 1,300 feet.... Fighting between the trees is good fun.
