New to Nivida, have a question about profiles
« on: August 17, 2006, 03:46:52 PM »
Having come from ATI cards, I have some questions about Nivida cards.

With my ATI I could make individual profiles. From those I could make shortcuts to each of my games and the control panel software would change my video card settings per profile.

Is there program that will allow me to do this for my  EVGA-GeForce 7800 GT ?

The settings I use in AH2 are too high for my other games and it's pain switching card setttings. Thanks.

I tired to use the default software and the profiles it has but I'm not sure how change profiles on the fly.

On their website(nvidia), download the Forceware control panel. There are profiles included, plus you can set up your own profile. Included is a link for tweaking. http://www.tweakguides.com/NVFORCE_1.html

Oh good a guide. I've been playing with the default profiles but I'm not sure if they are working and I can't add new ones that aren't already in the default list. Hopefully the guide will help.
