You know the one....you take out some goober and he inundates you with PM's telling you how lucky you are, or how he's going to hunt you down, or even threatens to come to your house and beat you up...

What's your favorite PM from the past?

Here's one that happened to me just last week:

I was flying a spit9 and shot down a con that engaged me.

I get a PM saying "Why don't you learn to fly something besides your dweeb ride you loser"

And he was in an LA-7!!!   :huh

One time JohnnyRa tuned me to private VOX and proceeded to rant profanely for about 20 minutes. He probably would have stopped sooner except for my laughing hysterically at him the whole time.

I was once subject to a 20 min PM diatribe consisting of rather colourful language convinced i was shane.  The person was not exactly a newbie and partrols these boards.

I spanked two 190D's on the deck in a P47D-11.  And a certain someone told me to fly a real plane............. not going to say is name, but it starts and ends with o and rymes with palace in the middle..........

Fly a real plane?????? You were flying a P-47 D-11 how much more of a hard ride do you want. If you woulda shot me down in that thing i woulda given you 5 for that!!! :huh :huh :confused: :confused:

I've only got one nasty PM and that was for vulching a guy about 5k over his base.

Of course, I've heard some real good ones lately given to others.........

since im a kid I file harrassment cases on all people that pm me.:D  And when I pm them I say its in retaliation and my self esteem pills were not kicking in.:p :cool: :lol

Got one the other night after shooting down a guy who was in an F4u-4.
     He said he'd like to try it again some time all the bells and whistles werent turned on my P40E. If you know what Im getting at.

     If he only knew how inept I am with computers.

Four of us sic pups flying ponies hit a field and shoot down ten guys defending it all at fifteen thousand or a little less. My sixth kill pms me with something about cherry picking when I was covering my wingman. Whatever a cerry pick is I followed this guy through a split s and shot his wings off so he definitely saw it coming.

was defending a base 2 nights ago, I was re-upping in a 38 when this person came screaming in from 8k in an la7 and started vulching, I was rolling down the runway and saw him start to line up on me, so I pull wheels up drop flaps and pull nose up and HO his la7, basically cutting it in half, and he missed me completely as he was a horrible shot, shortly after that I recieve some BS on channel 200 saying that all I can do is HO, and when I start laughing and explaining what really happened he PM's me cussing and calling me all kinds of names saying that I suck and couldn't even begin to take him 1 v1, in a real fight LOL.... This is someone in a very good squad too, I can't stand him but his squad is ok, won't say there name but they know who they are.  Mine has to be the best, I still laugh everytime I think about it :)

Once, while flying my "C.205 of Death", I engaged a P-51D, and La-7 and a Spit-9.  I killed the Spit, the La-7, and my C.205 of Death was badly damaged.  I did my best to evade the P-51, but he eventually shot me down.  Than I get a message telling me that I need to learn ACM and that stick stirrers like me should not be in the game.  Somehow, he failed to mention that it was three on one, and I got two of them before they got me.  He also failed to note that I had only one aileron and one elevator when he managed to shoot me down.  With a fully operable plane, he would have been dead.
