Take a vehicle and turn it into a player controllable foot soldier.

It doesn't have to be quake type of warrior.

Just a movable object with a gun and a few grenades.

And let C47 drop them instead of computer paratroopers. And when 10 of them get into the room, they have to hold for 10 minutes in order to take over the field.

I don't think it's totally impossible to implement that, or... is it?

this has been asked for many times and in many different ways i like GlacierGirls idea of this the most. And instead of just running to the map room u have to fight of enemy soldiers hiding in the twn shooting bk at u!!

There's no such rule as 'only ww2online should have footsoldiers'.

AH have tanks. why not foot soldiers.

Then again I'm having fun as is.

One day, we will see a persistent online ww2 game that presents all the aspects of ww2 with foot soldier and all, in a brilliant and fun way.

It's just that it hasn't happend, yet.

One thing is for sure... it is possible. But it will take some guts and bold steps to make that happen, not to mention brilliant minds.

theres 50 different threads asking for this, it will eventually happen, either that or they get rid of the gvs. If this game had it i just wouldnt be a troop, i would run them over wit tanks strafe them or drop incedairies on them, no prob for me. flying close air support wouldnt be bad either, just more things to do.
