TURN.  I teach this complex tactic to my squad and not one has ever been killed by a 262.  (excluding when flying a goon... 262's are efficient goon killers) Heck, I shot down a 262 with a zeke... All the 262 brings to the party is fear.  Learn that the fear is stupid and suddenly they are not a threat.

I guess you never ran into Fester in his 262 ... point is ... a 262 in the right hands is EXTREMLY deadly.

Variety is nice, yes?  We have lots of fighters, bombers, tanks, anti-air vehicles, even jeeps and Patrol torpedo boats.  Only one air transport though.  The 52 "was" the C-47 of the LW, filling many support and combat roles.

The 52 4M also was outfitted with a top gunner armed with a Daisy 880 pump action bb gun.

My choice, "if I could have just one..."

Not that it would be the ONE plane I would wish for but if we have to have a new german transport why not the AR-232?

You will note the 20mm cannon on top, 13mm in the nose and it has 1 or 2 13mm's in the rear.  Speed about the same as the C-47.  I would even think about using a small amount of perks to have that little bit of added security for my troops. :)

I vote for the P-39. It was used extensively on the Eastern Front and in the early war years in the Pacific.

The B-25 might be nice but since it is pretty similar to the B-26, I don't really see the point in getting it. I would much rather see the He-111.

The B-29 has a different gunner setup, if I remember correctly, there was only one guy that controlled all the guns. How would they model that? As for the A-bomb, it sounds like a lot of trouble for something that was only used twice.

It would be fun to have a Tallboy for the Lancs though, or a Grand Slam. Something sort of like a A-bomb, but not quite. Just conventional explosives.

i think the Do335 Pfeil would be great fun.
He 177 Greif, with engine fires and structural failiers
He 219 Uhu with all the weapon options.
He162 salamander, cos its looks like a buck rodgers ship

i know we don't need any more german stuff.. but although most of it was crap, it still looked cool.

My one choice would be either:

A)  P-82 Twin Mustang  (1946)

B)  P-61 Black Widow

I don't know what practical advantage or use they might have.  My choice is based purely on the coolness factor...

PS...Fairey Swordfish?  A biplane?  How would you survive more than 18 seconds?
