I believe the answer is clear. The aeroplane that Aces High II needs most is the Fairey Battle, if only to illustrate the bravery of Fairey Battle crewmembers. They must have had balls of iron.

The Battle fascinates me. It looks like a speed demon but it was awful in every respect. It must have been the worst military plane ever to have a Merlin engine. The Defiant has fans but no-one defends the Battle.

A Westland Lysander would be happy. It could drop saboteurs on enemy bases. And it was originally used as a light bomber/strafing aircraft. You'd have to add the Storch as well, which would be fun to fly at the least.

Well, the Axis could use another bomber in the line up, and buff pilots could use something other that Ar234 to spend perks on, but from a personal point of view:

Didn't you know? LTARs have been spotted more and more in lgay's trying to pork fields, usually in large hordes. Or in p51s diving in nice coordinated groups from 20k down to 2k to drop their bombs then vulch as much as they can before running away
