I guess I'm the only one here who didn't see the commercial on the military channel.  A friend of mine at work told me about it, and since I've always liked flight sims I thought I would check it out.  This is by far the most aggrivating game I have ever played.  It's also the first game in years that I've found that can hold my interest for more than an hour or two.

Two years ago, I was watching Flayd play AH at his place. He offered a few chances for me to play, and I ended up using up his perks dying in Tempests before I grasped what the hell I was doing!

Love military aircraft, love flight sims. Saw the add, down loaded the game. Played offline on my laptop at lunch, at work (with a mouse), for a couple of months. Last December the wife and I thought it was time to buy a decent PC (Christmas present). Started my free trial in late December and signed up in January. A couple of weeks into flying, I got an invite from 71 Squadron. Love this game. Although trying to get to sleep after playing isn't easy.

I always loved the B-17 had poorly built models of her when I was a teenager, Played Dam Busters on the C64 as a young kid, Played numerous flight sims on the Atari ST and Amiga, I can even remember my brother and his mates talking about this online flight sim they wanted to play but it was too much (warbirds...?)

And a A few years ago I was looking for a multiplayer game online and I stumbled on AH I played the two week trial as GSX1100. But never got into it.

Came back last year as mussie, and had a ball, but the interest was starting to wain after about two months of MA kill die die die die kill die die die die, Then I signed up with the Nighthawks and stated playing FSO's.

My interest peaked with FSO and the MA just became a training ground but with work and the fact that FSO's conflict with family life (11pm Friday in the USA is midday Saturday over here). I stopped playing for a number of tours.

I still find the MA boring except when my squadies are on and we work togeather. I just whish their where pacific time FSO's for chumps like me.

So I guess the reason I signed up was the fact that I like WWII aircraft. But the reason why I stay is my squad and special events.
