I was watching last evening at rooks taking bases undefended at knight HQ area, but 100+knits were CAPing,vulching bish bases A41/A42 , your SQD/CH and many others, Soo why are you crying about ?
I disgree Ghi. The issue isnt team quality at all -- and I just came Nit (to get more enemies to shoot at!) after 2+ years of being a Rook.
Most guys play the game to have fun. Dont forget that....most people could care less about strategy. The last major attempt to "change the face of AH with a new era of strategy" fizzled and self destructed, since nobody wants to be told what to do.
Giving "orders" so "we win" amounts to nothing more than telling other people that they are only allowed to have fun the way the general says. Naturally, most generals are routinely ignored, and either run to another country after a fine rant, or find some underlings who will obey their "strategy."
Such "strategy" usually amounts to getting a big enough pile of players to A) horde, pork and vulch a defended base, or B) deter anyone from taking off in the first place.
Playing for fun means that if stopping a horde isnt fun, it wont get done. Bases are often undefended not because of stupidity, but because its pointless for 1-2 guys to defend against 20. And pointless is *not fun*
I took a month and toured all 3 countries, since there are so many good people I've simply never met by staying on rooks. I can assure you, there is no difference between each side's tactics and player base.
