You knew WRONG (again).

No it was the
US Navy and the
US Marines that flew the F4U Corsair. The
US Army Airforce DID NOT fly the F4U Corsair. Anyone with a shread of intelligence knows that the insignia on all American a/c is the same > blue star in a white circle with bars. If it was in the airforce then its designation would begin with a '
P' (ie P-38, P-47, P-51). The USN used a different a/c designation system (ie F4F, F6F, F4U).
