The P51 wasnt the perfect plane, it had faults, the fusalage tank made the 51 unstable if it was full, when it was filled with gas they only needed 1 or 2 rounds in the wings to take them down, and they entered service way too late to be the #1 plane, the hurry would be one of the top contenders IMO

Phillipines? No, the closest would have been Iwo, or around there. The B29s lifted from the Marianas. The Phillipines would have been too far.

hello try reading or listening befor u talk, the b-29 was desinged to go very long distances with enough fuel to go back! the b29 took off from i thing a hawiian island made it to one of the phillapines but the abomb ones were ordered back to hawaii to load the abombs  and for the missions, but they only landed back at the phillapines. if u have watched "world's deadliest aircraft" and it was about the b29 that is basicly what it said!

You need to take your own advice.

The A-bomb B-29s flew out of Tinian in the Marianas. The A-bomb B-29s were also stripped of all guns and turrets except for the tail position.

What are you babbling about? The A-bombs were delivered by a USN cruiser to Tinian.
