Tax without representation is what that idea amounts too, tyranny on a global scale.

If that article is a glimpse of things to come, then roll on WW3 and a fresh start after the dust settles.

Nilson, that Washington Times article (compulsory tax) and what you posted (economic aid) are not the same thing.

No way in hell is right. No person or group of consequence has proposed that there be one.

So the UN wants to tax the world.

I say we should demand tax from the UN.

Damn straight we are. Somebody's got to pay for all those nasty letters they send out to cure the world's ills and take care of problems.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN

Hehe.  I think we should suddenly declare the UN as an enemy of the US, and grab all the UN Diplomats in NY as spies.  Just release the ones we like.

What about his.  Say we give up 0.7% Would that be less then:

1.  all the aid we provide all around the world
2.  Our "dues" that we pay to the UN
3.  Any other miscilanious expenses we pay to the IMF, UN, and Others

If so I'm all for it.  Cut off everything else let the UN handle it.   ;)
