Topic pretty much says the gist of my request.
I would really like to get into making movies...well the kind the bbs users make.
I record lots of stuff ingame using the default film veiwer however Id like to learn how to make or transfer them to a different veiwer like windows or wichever.
Also if somebody could give me some pointers on adding sound.

Any help/advice id really apreciate

I got the free version of fraps. i havent used it yet. any advice on using it would help alot too :cool:
i read on the board it was $15 but the website says $37 :huh  guess inflation is hitting everybody

Well, you need to record them with Alt+R.
You'll need to open those recordings with the Aces High Film Viewer.
You'll then need to record your views with Fraps.
Then you'll need to put them together with a video editing software.
Windows Movie Maker is free.  Go to microsoft.com or you may already have it installed, if you got WinXP Pro with Service Pack 2.
Encode your final video and then upload it to your own website or use a free website hosting company like google video, yahoo video, utube or anyone else that's free.

thanks kermit and stream.
i have several films recorded already. After reading up on several of shatzi's posts on how best to go from there, the consensus is to record your film then playback the film while running fraps.
gonna take me awhile to get the hang of it. Especially the stuff about codecs :eek:
eventually i want to be able to do black and white filmes and make em look like old newsreels. I've seen a few ppl here do it. That and do just guncam footage in b/w
