It seems a bit too much of a racial whine for me to stomach but the basic premise is correct.

You are either a free man or nothing.

I have read exerts from the book... the guy tends to think that the real evil is that released convicts can't vote... he says nothing about the fact that the parole system needs to be removed and most of the guys he is hand wringing about shouldn't even be let out for another 5-25 years...

He would be horrified at my views.

I never said it was GOOD, just interesting.  

One thing I do agree with from this material, is that we need to make the information more accessible to people on what their rights ARE.  Granted, the average person is ignorant of many of their rights for a reason, but just because they enjoy being sheep doesnt mean we should let those in power take advantage of it forever.  In that area, this helps, at least a little.
