glad yer ok dood!

It's just a car.
A nice one, that made ya smile, however;

.. yes, it *can* be replaced with a better one.

Pick one.
SS SLP 2000 or so convertible, blown rat powered '69, whatever.

There are finance companies that will finance any car you like, rates are pretty good atm, if your credit is ok.

-GE (or mebbe a '53 chebbie half ton with black iron pipe bumpers and a Nascar roll cage, just in case that 'lady' gets anywhere near ya again) (evil grin)

Went to the lot and got my personal things out of it.  Felt like going to the morgue to ID the body.

It's unfortunate that being drunk actually improves your chances of surviving a traffic crash.  It's a shame that the person who hit you didn't get killed, or at least lose the use of a few of her limbs.  Bad people rarely get what they deserve.  This month it was your Camaro, next month it could easily be a family of four.

That Camaro still has valuable parts.  Don't let the insurance cheat you.

Make absolutely sure the other car is impounded. It was used in a criminal act (hit and run at least, you'll likely not prove DUI), and you can not only sue the driver, but the owner as well, not to mention the distinct pleasure of prosecution of both of them.

UPDATE:
The cops found the girl that hit me.  Even though she was driving with a suspended license and had no insurance the didn't arrest her.  They issued her 4 citations of which I am sure her sugar daddy will pay and life will go on for her.

Meanwhile I am dealing with constant pain, mounting medical bills and trying to replace something that I can't really replace.  How is it that I am the one taking it up the bellybutton on this?????

What was it about your car that you liked?  Though you might not be able to get the same type again, you could probably find something with the same qualities.

It was just the perfect car for me.  Like I said before, it's just something I can't put into words.

good your still tickin, shame about the car. if it were me, i'd pull the drivetrain and put it in something older. like a first or second generation camaro. that'll keep your baby running.

Heck with small clamis court, take her to real court. Since she was at fault, you could fleece her for everything she has
