he is refering to the middle school sicko hottie teacher who had sex with a 14 year old. just another double standard, she gets house arrest & television show but if it were a male teacher and a 14 year old girl, he'd be saying hi to bubba at the state pen

my oldest son went to school with her and stated she was whacked out then

Lotta double standards

Guy that called into a rado show the other day brought up a couple.

"My son comes home at 1:00 AM and his clothes are messed up and his buttons arent done right and I give him a wink and an attaboy
If my daughter came home the same way, you would have to scrape me off the ceiling"

And

"your out in public and if a woman strips her clothes off, She gets a rousing round of applause.
If a guy does the same thing. He goes to jail"
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

Life is full of double standards.  So what?

Car tire blows out.  I'd change it myself, on the spot.  Do I want my wife to change it?  She's a doc, figured out med school and all those grody diagrams of guts.  But do I want her there on the side of the road changing a tire?  Hell no!  Don't care what it costs, hire someone else to do it.

Brother goes out with "the gang" in high school.  Hot chick drives him home, gives us both a wink dropping him off.  Cool dude, you rock.  Sister goes out, preppie dude gives her a ride home, drops her off with a wink (to her) and a "see ya babe".  Cool?  Hell no, I stand in front of the car until he turns off engine, and inform him that me and my 2 brothers will simply kill him if he ever tries to get in my sister's pants, even if it's her idea.

Double standards?  What's the big deal?

Plus way back when, an unmarried 14 year old was a dang spinster, and a 18 year old without at least one child was a witch.  We don't teach kids responsibility early enough anymore.  14 year old dude gets his 26 year old teacher preggers, he better get a damn job.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

Actually, one of the things that I was amazed to learn while studying Social and Economic History in University is that the average age for marriage was much older in the past.

For instance, from the middle ages to the late 18th century, the average age for marriage in Europe and then eventually America, ranged from the mid to late 20s. Up until that time, children would be expected to work on the family farm/in the home/in the family business. Even amongst the lowest classes, one didn't marry until a daughter had a suitable dowry, and a son was able to support his bride and family. A proposal of marriage from someone unable to support his daughter would be automatically rejected by most fathers, and most fathers worked to ensure that their sons "married well" especially because back then "marrying badly" often included starving to death, especially if you happened to be a woman. Running off with a shiftless young bad boy wasn't popular because the long term consequences were so terrible.

It wasn't until the late 19th century that marriage ages began to drop below the 20s and as amazing as it may seem we currently have both the lowest rates of marriage as well as the lowest median marriage ages in Western history, both of which are a reflection of the lowered levels of social responsibility. The social safety net means that the 20th and 21st centuries were really the first centuries in which people could run off with whomever they wanted and not worry about the consequences if said choice was a bum or bum-ette.
