What the hell do _lawyers_ have to do with an election? And why are people recounting votes that were thrown away because they were illegible?

I'm Swedish, not American, but I think it's time the UN sent in the troops. Though I guess if this had been a third world country the candidate with the most popular support would already have been assassinated by the CIA  .

Lawyers were sent to Florida to keep Bush from winning.

I'm not going to debate on if the butterfly ballot was good or bad because it doesn't matter, it was O.K.'d before the election so it doesn't matter.

The Demo have sued to call the ballot illegal so they can have a re-vote, they sued extend the State deadline, they sued so the canvassing board couldn't certify counts till they got the numbers they wanted, they are threatening to sue Broward county because they won't finish the manual count, plus several other lawsuits to cause utter confusion.

The Repubs sued because they think the manual re-re-counts are unfair, unreliable and biased.

If you listen to the Demos the Repubs are the ones who are the evil people trying to deprive the American people of their freedom but the facts prove otherwise.

If you listen to the Repubs they say that the Demos are trying to steal the election by using lawyers to argue against State laws that go against them and by doing manual re-re-counts in Demo controlled counties with Demo controlled Canvassing boards.

Being form the outside maybe you can see things clearer than the rest of us(we are biased).

My opinion is that the minute the lawyers got to Florida was the minute this election went from being about what the people wanted to who has the better lawyer/judges in their pocket.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

"I can't read BIG BOLD LETTERS and FOLLOW AN ARROW TO A CIRCLE so I think a recount is required"

Only in America do illiterates determine who leads the country.....
