What exactly is it? How much does it cost? Is it a monthly subscription like XM radio? Is it big? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Diablo, If you could get a wire harness for your vehicle, I could give you one of my products, John Deere, komatsu, Kobadi and New holland are looking at an OEM for it.
I have it made in France and my R&D section are in Long beach, I never bother usually with the comsumer market as you need to have some form of a wire harness installed for it to work, but if you are able to do this then i would let you have one.
Basically, it's water proof, tamper proof and shock proof, it's 384 bit encryption too, the unit taps into the power, fuel, brakes and hydrauclics, unless you have the key fob, the vehicle won't start-ever, it's never been defeated yet, you try and cut the unit out and it blows fuses and shuts of power etc at random intervals.
I have it tied into my Telematics product so the vehicle can be shut down remotely, I'm currently working with the DOT and homeland security for this very scenario, in other words, a vehicle gets hijacked, a Fed can shut it down from his desktop or, he can drive up behind it and punch in codes via his cell phone, that way he can bring it to a gradual halt at a place and time of his/her choosing.
Obviusly you wouldn't need this level of sophistication, but Like I said, if you can get the wire harness, I can get you a unit, heck, i'll even let you have it for nothing since you had a terrible time recently.
No monthly subs or anything like that, it justs sits in you car and does it job.
Lemme know
