The future of Border Control

Intelligence is not required to attend a scheduled speech at a major university. As a matter of fact there is no indication in the clip that many of those folks there were enrolled at the school.

"Common sense" as it was used here in the thread is not necessarily an indicator of intelligence. Most of what we would consider to be examples of "common sense" are indications of experience rather than analysis of any particular situation. At the same time a lack of experience (or experience base) is also not an indicator of lack of intelligence either. Educational institutions do not teach "common sense", they teach other things.

I don't understand why you would fault the school for the behavior of the individuals in the clip. Their behavior was the result of lack of training by their parents who did not teach them respect and manners. The school was supposed to teach them to think not how to behave.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

The university officials obviously never took Mayor Dailey's course "Crowd Control 101."

Heh human group behaviour at its best.

A pre-staged propaganda coup whipping the dumb masses into a frenzy, orchestrated in a manner Joseph Goebbels himself would have been impressed by.

These people are, in this situation, mere tools. Pressured by their peers, formed by the environment they are in, their reaction is visceral and bears strong resemblance to traits found on other pack animals.

It is sad to see the future 'intellectual elite' reduced to a crowd of sheeple.

Never mind the topic, that's uninteresting. The ease with which even intelligent people can be manipulated with is kind of breathtaking.

You do know that the one speaker was african american, and the protesters really flipped out (probably because their arguments/chants/slogans were rendered moot) when the white guy speaker came on stage and hugged the african american speaker.

Funny, I don't recall the clan or the nazi party being multi-cultural as the Min. Man. project is.  Also, according to one person who was there, the protesters called the african american MM speaker guy the N. word many times over.

They pretty much lost any moral high ground they might have had at that point.
