Since somebody got my Caloi 7 sp cruiser while I wasn't looking, I'd thought I might upgrade a bit this time...
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the internal hub gearing, such as the Shimano Nexus 7 speed internal hub gears (no exposed gears or derailluers, and instant shifts, even while stopped) Are they reliable and durable?
Also, could anyone advise as to the performance of the Electra Townie bikes, with the slightly forward pedals and thier suitability for someone with bad knees.
I'm basically intersted in bike for excersize - a quality, tough-built cruiser type bicycle, and doing about 50 - 80 miles per week.
