I like the new setup

For all the complaining of the new setup. I must say I like the change. I can go to MW and up a p-47 and actually get kills. I can up in EW in a P-40-b and actually survive to RTB. There must be more people in AH that do like the format the way it is now. I have been in the EW and MW so much that I have not been in my usual hangout, The AVA (sorry Oldman).

Soooo what do you all like about the new format?

i love the fights, and the great players you meet in the EW and MW.

LW is full of the same dweebs as the old MA, hence why they're all complaining about it.

i LOVE the change, i can finally get some great one on ones, or some nice sized furballs, where there are no uber planes zipping about.

Exactly, The fights are better! More flying less hoeing. It's all good!

I like nothing about the new setup.  There is enough change in real life.  
My haven in the virtual world should remain consistant and enjoyable.

Slap that's my point though. I'm so sorry that I liked an arena with 500 people in it, why should I feel like an bellybutton because of it? I'm not a strat guy or a griefer. Yet at every turn I see all the guys who like the new arenas and play there 90% of their time tell me what a noob dweeb I must be to play in there. I say I'm glad that arenas were created that let everyone enjoy what they liked....except me...I guess.

Kind of reminds me of AW with the FR vs. RR rift, this will never be a conjoined community.

pup, i think you misunderstood.

what i mean by saying that the LW is full of the same old dweebs, i mean all the hordes of spit16s and la7s, something im very happy to say goodbye too ;)

i pop into the LW every now and then, have plenty of fun too :)

Understood ... if you want to fly in the LW then knock yourself out. I don't believe that I have ever called anyone a dweeb because they fly there ... I just have a problem with those who constantly lobby to get rid of the new arenas ... for whatever reason ... cause that is where I am having my most fun.

I like it a lot.

Flew late2 last night for a long time with a squaddie.  We went low numbers side and were in a constant brawl for 4-5 hours.  Naturally it was nothing but N1Ks, Spit 16s, 190D9s and LA7s.

Great fun killing em and getting killed in return.

Went to Midwar later and flew for 2-3 more hours.  It was nothing but F6Fs, Zeros and Seafire IIcs in a constant brawl.

Great fun killing em and getting killed in return.

I was in my 38G the entire time in both arenas.  It was also the longest I've flown in one stretch in a long time.

Having the option to fly in a different setting with different plane matchups is great :)

Agreed! Had my first couple of rides in LW since the change this morning. The game remains the same there. The matchups in the other 2 arenas are a refreshing change of pace.
