Can you find your squad?
« on: October 24, 2006, 03:40:57 PM »
I find it harder and harder to look for my squad. I red text and they always answer back but we are spread out all the time with cap's. Also when we do meet up sometimes their is not a fight so i jump around. Everyone in my squad likes to do something different some gv while other bomb. I like the furball so in order to do that i need to check out each arena and find a good fight.

The past couple of weeks i am finding out that squads are in major trouble with the cap's and eight different places to fight. Are other squads having this trouble? We are one off the largest squads in the game and oldest. it would be a shame to see these groups of people that have been together for such a long time being separated.

I gotta say, its tough.  I might be able to wing up with a squaddie or two every couple of nights, but most the time were pretty scattered and can only text back and forth across arena lines.

I had taken a break from the game for a couple of months and came back just before the "split", I might just continue my break untill this is all worked out.:cry

I don't worry about it, some prefer the LW so I see them rarely because I don't go in there.  we usually log on and say hi on squad chat, you know where the members are and if you wish you play in the same arena, no biggy.

Hasn't been an issue.  First place to look for us is MW.  If no one in there, get on squad and type "anybody home".  If they are, you know where they are and you meet up.  If not, have at it :)

My squad isn't near the size as yours FX, but some times it's hard. We've started using Team Speak on a regular bases so that makes it much easier.

Its just frustrating to me and at first i thought the different arena's were a good idea but my idea has changed from that time.

If any of our squad is on it's never hard to find them.... the suggestion of another page on the clipboard with squad and friends is a nice suggestion. Till then no problem for us.

I guess I'm a little confused... if you're off flyin while another squaddie is across the map GV-ing does it matter if you are in different arenas as long as you can chat on squad while you play?

Or is it the need to exit and re-log to a different arena should you decide to wing up that's the issue?

Just trying to understand where the issue is.  As some of my illustrious compadres have already mentioned we generally don't have any problems finding each other across the different arenas and flying together.

Let me restate that, I can FIND them easily enough, getting everyone together seems to be an issue and we're not even a "MEGASQUAD"   (I think):aok

I mostly play during peak hours so we can't always join up in the same arena so my buddy can drive his GV to a base and I can fly to the same base, thats all, nothing more.

Talking to my friends on the same vox is what it basically boils down too. Team speak would work but that going to be running in the back ground and could be a problem with lag. I cant fly with skype on because i do see a variance in delay and can notice it in the game. Texting another player that's not in my squad is a problem also not seeing everyone in the roster not knowing if they are logged in another arena is a problem.

Vox is one of the best function in the game but its not being used for its intended purpose.

I was flying with 2 of my squaddies tonight and having fun.

I had to relog.

The Arena gave me the finger.

I was forced to go to another arena.

I gave the finger to AH for the night.

Let me restate that, I can FIND them easily enough, getting everyone together seems to be an issue and we're not even a "MEGASQUAD"   (I think):aok [/B][/QUOTE] again we have the issue of choice.  some players prefer certain arenas, sometimes I prefer to fly complete alone other times I prefer company.  I don't have a problem with squaddies wanting the same.  the new three MA arenas actually enhances gameplay.  aren't we all pro choice?
