but what about the F4u4

The F4u-4 doesn't count for it's firing all 50 cals. You mean the Cannon dependent deflection shot dweebs. The ones that fly around in a catoon plane armed with 4-20mm's getting a HO shot or a weak deflection then typing like they are all that.

Lets see them do all that in a non cannon armed cartoon plane, and shootin your friend who is holding still while on another country does not count.

You all know this is BS.  The same can be told about Tiffies, 51s, 38s, NIKIs,  etc.  Come in high pork something, loop around get a vulch and then die or try to run.
The only reason the lala gets the bad rep is that it wont let you rtb with your picks and vulches.

I'll shoot you down all day in a D11, Hellcat, 51B,  in a deflection solution.

exactly, and this is why i laugh when a P51 'ace' or 190 'master' complains about me flying a low n' slow spit5.

somehow they think that not flying an LA7, yet still using the weak and tierd tactics of the true lala7 dweebs, try to tell me that I am the dweeb for flying an early war spitty that can hardly outrun a TBM.

they're all dweebs

the lala doesnt get a bad rep for 'hunting people down' :rofl it gets a bad rep because 95% of them are awful pilots, all they do is turn to face you and shoot, usually a HO.

no matter what you think, the LA is a 'dweeb ride', but it's the pilot that counts. IMHO though, someone like you that 'will not' let someone get home after perhaps some good fights is a little lame.

sure, i dont expect to be escorted home by an enemy lol, but i dont expect them to be so enraged at the arse kicking i just gave them, for them to want to hunt me down LOL

i would be flattered though, as it's almost like recieving 'you're a hacker, i'm email hitech' PM's, although not quite as prestigeous ;)

And what exactly do you think 95% of the guys in a NIKI, Tiffi, HOricane, and spits do?  As for the rest of your statements, read again. I said picks and vulches, not a good fight. Unless thats what a good fight is to you.

Is it because you have to earn your perks or is it a macho thing?
It could be argued that if you're good enough to earn perks to fly them, you should be flying more challenging types. Bit of a Catch 22 eh?

The gripes are about the numbers of these clowns. Its not unbeliveble that you can roll in on a group of planes and find the 30% are Las, 30% are Spit 16s, 20% are niks, and the other 20% are assorted types. LA's and spit 16s and Niks to a certain extent are very good planes that hit hard, turn well and are very fast, and with even a mediocer pilot are tuff to kill, in masses your toast.

Temps, f4u4, and even typhs are not used as commonly so are not the "same" type of proplem. While all 3 are very good planes, its very rare that you would even see them all in the same group at once.

The complaints about the lalas, spit16s, and niks are because "anybody" can fly and kill in one, and EVERYBODY does  :D

Nothing more satisfying than chasing down vulchers after lifting a La-La.

Was in the MW a week or so ago and a P-47-D11 was vulchin' the piss out of a field and talking all sorts of smack to the one poor guy that kept trying to up.

I sat in the tower and picked the appropriate time to launch an La-5 ... 25%. Got wheels up and made him miss on a pass which in turn bled quite a bit of E so he decides it's time to get out of Dodge. Yeah right.

He dives for the deck trying to pick up speed, but the D11 just can't quite do it. I keep gaining ... 1.5 ... 1.0 ... 800 ... now he turns hard right and up (very evasive !!!) ... LOLOLOL ... I nose up to the right ... draw a bead ... BOOM !!!!

Ya should have seen the tirade on 200 ... it not only made my day ... it made my week. I think he had something like 8 kills and was torqued that his name would not appear in lights.

Hey ... that's what he said ... :rofl

My La-La is used for horde goon hunting and vulchers and an occasional sortie or two just to keep things all oiled up.

I did fly the La-7 just about exclusively for Tours 33 thru 35 and that is why I laugh at La-7s when I see them ... except for when Shane is flying one ... then I know I am in for a good fight.
